Tired of reading 100 wRVU a shift? Exhausted by flipping your sleep schedule every third week? Wanting a more sustainable job while maintaining your amount of time off? Well look no further!

We’re a small independent Alaskan private practice seeking an early morning/night teleradiologist on a 7 on - 14 off or a 7 on - 7 off schedule. Ideal hours for East Coast nighthawks looking for better work life balance with lower case volume and complexity while maintaining a more natural sleep schedule by starting your night shift at 3 AM EST instead of the usual 11 PM EST.

Shifts are 8 hours in duration and pay $400 per hour. 50 wRVU per shift which comes out to $64/wRVU.

7 on - 14 off salary (17 weeks): $380,800

7 on - 7 off salary (26 weeks): $582,400

Shift Hours: 3 AM EST - 11 AM EST / 2 AM CST - 10 AM CST / 12 AM PST - 8 AM PST

Case Mix: bread and butter community-based inpatient/ED radiology, level IV trauma. About half of the cases are x-rays and the other half a mixture of CT and US with rare MRIs.

Additional weekend daytime shifts would be available if desired. Malpractice insurance, state license fees and all computer equipment covered. McKesson and Mach7 PACS with PowerScribe dictation system.

Alaska Imaging is a long established independent private-practice group based out of Southcentral Alaska. We provide onsite service to hospitals and outpatient imaging centers primarily in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley and Juneau. Also providing teleradiology services to clients across the broader state ranging, but not limited to, Cordova, Dillingham, Naknek, Prudhoe Bay and Fairbanks.
