Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest 100% physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our practice includes 190 radiologists, 40 advanced practice providers, and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. We value diversity on our team and promote a culture of inclusion.

What we do: ARS provides services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. We are the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigan’s largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health. In 2022 we read over 1.2 million STAT cases for our eight health care systems.

What we are looking for: We are seeking remote Emergency Radiologists to cover third shift and join our section of 50 physicians! This is a partnership track position with full compensation and benefits. The schedule could be either of the following:

  • Option 1- 10 p to 7 a EST working 7 on and 14 off. This is ideal for someone living in the Pacific Time zone or Hawaii.
  • Option 2- 7 p to 4 a working 7 on and 14 off. This is ideal for someone living in the Pacific Time zone or Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret ER-centric US, CT, MR, NM and conventional radiography
  • Function well in the fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting
  • Provide exceptional service to referring physicians and patients

Why do you want to do telerad for us? Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 14 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and Clario; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiothoracic, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.

Compensation/Benefits: We are currently offering a very generous recruitment incentive which is payable upon signing. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for increased compensation by picking up additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay nothing for medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($69,000 in 2024). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and a brand new 6-week paid parental leave benefit to coordinate with the 12 weeks of FMLA!
