Radiology Locum Opportunity in Texas
Subspecialty: Diagnostic Radiology
  • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
  • Specialty: Diagnostic RAD with minimal IR
  • Length of Assignment:
    • September Start - Indefinite
  • Call Requirements: N/A
  • Charting/Dictation: Fluency and PACS
  • Required Skills & Procedures:
    • 50-60+ reads per day with minimal IR
    • Average of 3-4 light procedures per day
      -Including but not limited to biopsies/lumbar
      punctures/GI studies/Arthrograms/Paras/HSGs, etc.
    • Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and emergency
  • Vaccine Requirements: Yes
  • Additional information:
    • Fluoroscopy, Biopsy - they are mostly Mammography, minimal IR
    • In house - No Teleradiology
    • Support staff:
    • Rad tech (15), Rad nurse (1), Cath lab has (2) nurses and (2) techs
    • Mammography reads are not required, but preferred. Ideal candidate can do a little bit of everything.
    • Modality Sheet attached
  • Shift time - Monday - Friday from 8a-5p (No Tele)
  • Start Date: September 1st
  • Will client pay for travel? Yes
  • Can we license for this opportunity? Yes with IMLC
  • Credentialing Timeframes:
    • 30 days if clean for Emergency Privileges
    • 90-120 days for full privilege's
  • BC/BE/Certification Requirements: BC/BE - MD or DO
