Radiology Locums Opportunities available in Asheboro, NC
Coverage needed at a community healthcare system which includes an acute care hospital, primary and specialty physician practices, home health services, a PACE facility and a freestanding MRI testing facility. Seeking coverage 3-5 days per week, November 1st-ongoing. Shifts are as follows:
  • General/DX with Fluoro--Onsite-8a-5 p

  • Remote General Radiology:
12p-8p, Mon-Fri
8a-5p (Sat & Sun)
5p-12a (M-F)
12a-8a (M-F)
  • General/Light IR-Onsite-8a-5p-- No Call

  • General/Mammography-Onsite-8a-5p
Systems Used: • EMR: Meditech • PACS: Intelerad • VR: Fluency
• Fluoroscopy Procedures: Perform real-time imaging to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• General Radiology: Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs. • Mammography: Volume: 30/day including screeners and diagnostics, 3D, Digital Mammography, and Breast Ultrasounds. Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
• Light Interventional Procedures: Perform non-complex procedures such as:
o Image-guided biopsies
o Drainages
o PICC line placements
o Paracentesis and thoracentesis (fluid removal from the abdomen and chest)
Volume: 8-10 procedures/day

Requirements:
  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
  • Active NC License & DEA - Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
  • Clean History-No Medical Malpractice History, Displinary History, Background issues, etc.
