Interventional Radiology Locums- Olympia, WA
Subspecialty: Interventional Radiology
- Coverage needed due to physician retirement
- Hospital-based practice setting
- Schedule: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., call coverage for entire week if working that week
- Average of 8-11 cases daily, with high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies
- Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 55,000
- EMR: EPIC; teleradiology on Philips ISite platform
- Team: 2 interventional radiologists locally, 25+ system-wide; standard hospital IR support staff
- Required procedures: Angiography, CT, Ultrasound
- Required interventional procedures: Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 3-4 months
Compensation: Lucrative Hourly and On-Call Rates (1099). Travel Reimbursement. Medical Malpractice Coverage. Requirements:
